A Runner's Paradise: Where Joy Meets the Track


Running clubs usually organize training sessions at athletic tracks, a choice made with careful consideration. Beyond the availability of showers and storage facilities, the flat, even tracks of standard length allow coaches to design tailored training programs for participants. Runners of all levels can savour the joy of running on these rubbery tracks, fully immersed in a runner's paradise.


Nevertheless, finding a suitable athletic field in the UK is never easy. The few available public venues often require an annual membership subscription and usage fees, posing a potential financial strain for many runners. Some opt for running in parks or on sidewalks, but the frequent presence of obstacles complicates systematic speed or interval training.


Hong Kong Runners Converge for Training Excellence


Last month, Harbour Sports Club gathered Hong Kong runners of all levels in London and Reading for track training sessions. Participants took on various challenges to hone their skills under the guidance of seasoned runners.

探索跑步激情 建立團結社群

然而,在英國找到合適的運動場來練跑卻是一大挑戰。開放給公眾使用的場地相對有限,而且多數要求會員支付年度會費和場地使用費,這對許多跑者來說可能是一個負擔。儘管你可以在公園或人行道上跑步,但經常需要避開不時出現的障礙物,難以有系統地進行速度或間歇訓練。

剛過去的一個月,Harbour Sports Club 為跑者帶來了難得的機會,在倫敦及雷丁分別舉辦了跑道訓練活動,讓不同程度的移英港人跑者齊聚一堂,互相勉勵地挑戰各種項目,並在資深跑者指導下進行各種改善跑步技巧的練習。
