Club Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations and administration of the Club.
• Implement and coordinate community sports programs as outlined in the funding proposal.
• Liaise with community members and l
ocal organizations to promote the Club's initiatives.
• Network with local bodies, sports councils, and other relevant organizations to increase visibility and support for the Club's programs.
• Monitor the program budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Lead, manage, and support Club staff and volunteers.
• Provide regular reports on Club activities, community engagement, and program effectiveness.
• Ensure all Club activities comply with health and safety standards.

• A bachelor’s degree, Sports Management, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a management role, preferably within a sports or community organization.
• Proficient in English, written Chinese and spoken Cantonese.
• Strong communication and networking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Passion and enthusiasm for sports is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.

Contract Duration:

This is a 12-month temporary contract position. Continuation of the contract beyond this period is subject to the availability of funding.


The full-time salary for this position is £24,000 ~ £30,000 (part-time £12,000 ~ £15,000), negotiable for an outstanding candidate who offers additional skills or experience. The successful candidate will join the company’s pension scheme.

Reporting Line:

The Club Manager will report to the Managing Director.

Working Arrangements:

This role offers part-time (20 hours/ week) or full-time (40 hours/ week) hours with flexibility. There is no fixed office, and the successful candidate will be able to work from home. However, transportation to outdoor events or other venues when events are held will be required. Most events of HSC are currently organized in London and Reading.
